Joy has worked as a nurse, a student support at the special school and as a team leader at Cara Day Options. United We Made It is her brainchild. She is our leader, organiser, and thinker. She is full of creative ideas and is the leading force behind the thoughtful and compassionate culture we practice here. She is a deep thinker and a strong advocate for the disability sector. She makes work fun with engaging conversations, lots of celebrations, music, and dancing. Participants and staff love coming to work every single day.

The rest of the team

We are a team of 11 workers with varied abilities, interests and life experiences. What we share in common is the passion to make people of all abilities feel valued and enable them to reach their goals and dreams.
We love for you to visit us. Walk into our shop between Mon to Wed 10 am to 3 pm, Thu 1 pm to 4 pm and Fri 9 am to 12:30 pm to explore some hidden gems.
